Monday, Monday!

Blah... It's Monday. The only thing exciting about today is that for FHE my ward is having a dinner and an auction. It is going to be great. Who could resist free dinner from Texas Roadhouse? The auction is to collect canned goods for the food pantry. Ya know it doesn't feel like it should be the Christmas season yet. But it is here yet again. One more year down and I am still just as confused about life as I was before. Well, that is enough of my random rambling, I had better get on with the rest of my boring day. TTFN!

Hiking...

Me, Erin, Lena and Brionne at the head of Cub River. We went hiking after Brionne's mission farewell luncheon on Sept 20th. It was fun. :D

Now that vacation is over...

Oh how sad is it when you have to come back from a vacation. I enjoyed the days that I had to rest my weary mind and body from work. It was good to get away and not have to worry about bills and work and everything because it was already taken care of. It was also good to see Jessica again as we do not see each other often enough. I had a good time hanging out with her and briefly with her sisters.

The wedding was beautiful. The Mesa Temple is amazingly beautiful... However, I was a little disheartened when I saw that there is not an Angel Moroni but I guess there are a lot of temples without him. I guess I take for granted the wonderful history and legacy that we have here in the Cache Valley area. We are so blessed as individuals and as a people in general. We are blessed with an amazing pioneer heritage and we should want to share that... Now that I am going off on a tangent, let me get back Arizona... It was fun to see the different style of landscaping but I think I prefer living somewhere where we have enough water to have green grass in our parks and yards.

It was also a blast to see Bryce Canyon, the Grand Canyon, and also Cove Fort (which is located between Kanosh and Beaver, Utah.) Cove Fort is an amazing little place that the Church built under the direction of Pres. Brigham Young. I think that if you have the chance to stop there and see the Fort, do so. Well, I will have to post some pics of things but as for right now... Hasta La Vista, Baby!
